We do at Farrier Fitness. As trainers, we can’t just show up, trim a little here and there, nail on a nice shoe and watch farriers trot off happy the way we can (sometimes anyway) with a horse. What we can do is offer workouts and yoga flows designed specifically for farriers to be stronger and more comfortable under horses.
Nothing can really replace going to a knowledgeable personal trainer who can design workouts specifically for you, get you thru that workout safely and keep you accountable and consistent. That can be expensive and time consuming (and sometimes awkward and intimidating). Many farriers are way too busy to dedicate the time to always go to the gym, hopefully Farrier Fitness can offer something that meets your needs with a busy life and schedule as a farrier.
We have workouts available online that are designed to be done at home with minimal investment. We also have workouts that can be done at any place with a basic gym setup. These workouts will help offset all those hours balled up under horses and help balance out swinging hammers with one hand and not the other. We also offer yoga flows that can help make you bendier and stronger, which comes in handy when you are all twisted up trying to keep old Fluffy comfortable when you are trimming his feet.
